I am going to buy an used Z...
I found the gas cap cover is kind of werid,...not fully closed..
and the sales man told me every single Z has the same problem with that......if that true ??
can someone post some pic of their Gas Cap cover ??

i dont have a pic but i can tell you my gas cap lines up perfectly like the day i bought it.

 

It should fit flush with the side of the car...

If it's sticking out oddly or something then there's a problem.

I dont have pics handy though sorry...

 

CAREFUL! Could be an indication that the vehicle was in an accident.

 

I have seen many Zs have that problem, in fact my gas cap is just a lil bit off but the dealer will replace it under warranty for me tomorrow.

 

Very common problem, not a big deal IMO. Dealer should be able to adjust or replace it to perfection for ya. Does NOT necessarily indicate that the car has been in an accident.

Agreed. Alot of people have reported having their covers not quite line up. If you search around this board a bit there has been some discussion of it and i think some poeple had some solutions.
