700 miles in one day, no problem...
I drove from San Diego to Phoenix to look at some property last week. Its just over 350 miles one way. I drove there in the morning, and returned that night. I was expecting to be sore from all that seat time, but was very surprised at how good the Z is at long hauling. My neck was a little stiff, but that was it.
I even have the s-tune suspension, which is a bit tighter than stock.
My average speed for the day was 77mph. It would have been faster, but I discovered that the cruise control won't set higher than 90.
This car just keeps impressing me even after 2 years of ownership.
So if your worried about taking the car for long trips, don't be. Go for it and enjoy.

I drove from the middle of Virginia to Orlando, FL soon after i got my Z. Actually stopped to see some family in SC on the way, so total round trip was over 2000 miles. On the way back from FL, i drove straight home, stopping 2 times i think, but got stuff to go. So i was pretty much in the car for 12 straight hours and I wasn't too stiff when i got home.
good thing in phoenix is we have nice highway pavement.
I just went on a trip to cali last weekend and i have travelled 1000 miles with only 25 mins of sleep in 36 hours, no body sore, just tired because lack of rest.
