Sometimes I accidentally shut off the headlights when using the turn signal. Seems Nissan should have made the switch tighter, with more resistence.
Anyone else have this problem?

 

I had it. I am not sure if it was the style in which I change signal...but now I simply stick out my index finger. Before perhaps I would bend it causing me to grab it by behind causing the turn....but it only happened to me say 4-5 times over the course of a year.

 

I think i've done it once. It would have helped if it was a little more resistant though, but i dont find it a problem

 

I've done it before too. If they made it tighter people would complain it is too hard to move. Its a lose lose situation. Adjust your turn signal hitting style.

 

I have the solution, you own a sports car so you don't use signals.

There was a thread awhile back about this. Lots of people have done it, and it's only a matter of time until it causes an accident.

 

Yeah I have done that a bunch of times. I have altered my style of flipping the lever and havent had the problem since.
