Owning 350Z makes u appreciate appreciate Civic, Sentra, etc.?
Owning a 350Z makes me appreciate my Honda Civic and other cars like it.
I love the Z, yet I didn' t expect it would make me appreciate my Civic. B/c I could drive it around and not car, and get good gas mileage as well.

I dunno, I was riding in a friend's civic yesterday...couldn't help but be unimpressed.
The car was noisy, pretty damn slow, and rattled like crazy. But then again, you could have almost 3 civics for the cost of a Z.

I've noticed that with myself as well.
After driving a 350z for awhile now you'd think that the underpowered cars would be a bore. On the contrary, it's fun hopping into econo 4-bangers now because I'm so use to having a high threshold of control that I could easily toss around the weaker cars with confidence and have loads of fun.

I respect my 96 civic, my 89 accord even more. As far as fuel economy, they were excellent! From New York to D.C. and half way back on a full tank. But that's were it stops. I work 7 min. from work, but I take the 20 Min. route in the Z! Besides, nobody looks at you in a civic!
I also "respect" my '94 Civic as it allows me to park in the front of any parking lot and not worry about door dings, etc. Also it kicks a$$ in terms of fuel economy on my commutes. It also gets me to appreciate my Z even more as the power difference is tremendous whenever I get behind the seat [of my Z] afterwards.
Its just because you dont have to worry about driving the civic. Hit a mud puddle with a civic, no problem.... Do it with your 305z and your like CRAP, gotta get to a car wash fast !!!!
Plus when you park your old car in a parking lot, no biggy if it gets a ding from a-holes opening there doors... With a 350z your ready to kill someone if they scracth it....
Its not that you appreciate your civic more, its just that its less stressful driving the civic because you dont care as much about it as you do your Z
