I have a 2003 model and the vin is 013391. The crank angle sensor recall listed here http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi...es/03124-1.gif shows that 000001 - 100167 are affected. I called nissan and they say that there is no recall on my vehicle. To me this seems like a safety issue. Since i didnt get a letter in the mail you think i should fight for it? Whats next step? over phone or marching into the dealership?

 

I'd print out the recall msg on the website and bring it to a dealer.

 

The problem is the recall only covers the first 167 vehicles made in 2003. VIN's you posted show 100167 which is not really 100,167 but 00167 with no side airbags. The actual VIN is the last 5 numbers. My car is 001890 which means I have a car with side airbags. Forget about the first digit. The actual VIN is the last 5 digits. The recall does not affect your car. They didn't make 100,167 cars
