i'm not going this year. Save the money for the LA Autoshow the week after that.

 

I'll be there from Fri-Sunday ....

at the Pioneer booth for as little time as possible ... then roaming the floor and enjoying the show

my dad's going, as usual - but i can't join him this year because spring semester starts the 3rd of jan according to the emails there will be all sorts of car parts in addition to car audio/video this year, iirc.

Jim - what do you do with Pioneer. that's primarily where my dad spends his time.

but besides... CES is what you tell your girlfriends and wives when they ask you why your going to vegas

your really going to AVN... "yea babe im going to see all the new electronics and such"

hahaha exactly!!!! No I wish, I'm whipped. All my girls' photographers got passes to that and waive them in my face. Last year, the ONE night I decide to saty in the hotel, all my buddies partied with Ron Jeremy, Jenna Hayes, and some other hot hoez at Paris

Don't forget BondCon too!!! Some freaky **** right there!

oh man it was great being there during the AVNs when i went to CES with my dad and brought a friend two years back.

well ... I will have to see the schedule .. got some car audio guys trying to have a "model" party ... who knows ... but I may be up for some hard rock

 

yet another bump, if half this forum went to sema then thier has to be more than 4 going to CES.

 

So many people don't even know about CES and what it is. It's a great show people. Basically almost a mini SEMA part 2 but with added computers and electronics. And you can't go wrong with AVN and BondCon going on the same week!

I might be going... if I do, I'll be driving though and will likely be staying far away (near NV/CA border). I'll also be driving my Max instead (much better for an 8+ hour drive each way).

To second Synergy350Z, CES is great stuff if you like gadgets, digital cameras, home theater stuff (TVs, projectors, stereo equipment, etc.) or mobile electronics (car stereos, amps, speakers, alarms, etc.). I've gone a few times myself.
