Z Finally came IN!
All went like clock work. Ordered mid Oct. Salesman said, “November build, early Dec. delivery”. All came to pass.
Ordered by phone from Schaier Nissan in Long Beach CA.
Price agreed to on the phone was $500 over dealer invoice (no haggling). Gave him my CC for a deposit (over the phone). He faxed me my receipt as well as my specific order with Nissan factory in Japan.
Met the salesman, Vincent Franco, for the first time yesterday when I to picked up the car. Very nice guy. On the money. Easiest car purchase I have ever done. When I arrived car was ready to go, waiting fro me. Finance took ten minutes and the car was mine.
PS: They offered me such a great price on a set of Nismos that I couldn't pass it up. Took those with me two my car two in my brother's Z, two in mine
We both have 05 Tourings; black/burnt orange. His is auto, mine is 6sp (that is why I had to order it, no 05, 6sp. Tourings in black w/ b. orange anywhere in So. Cal.
Put the Nismos on today along with Potenza S03s. Stopped at a Honda dealer and bought a radio entenna.
Sat I will have a light tint added to the windows.
So, I have a set of 4 18” OEM wheel/tires that have 18 miles on them if anybody is interested let me know. They go for about $800 or so on Ebay.
