Well here's a pic of my Silverstone on a cloudy day...It does look a bit gray...but that is what I like about the color. In bright sunlight you get a light color...at night it has a very dark and menacing look....plus the dark tint helps.

Oh, and another thing I love is the contrast of the tail lights on Silverstone...looks real sweet to me...

Thumbs up Hey SilvrZ good choice!!

SilvrZ have you been cruising around gardena, my friends are asking me if i've been cruising around that area lately, so i thought it might be you. How do you like the tint, i might get some titanium tint also, but was wondering how much reflectivity it has. Anyways about the colors, i like the way the silverstone takes on different hues, when it's cloudy, it does look darker, when it's really sunny it takes on a silvery look, sometimes it looks like it has a green tint to it, sometimes it has that pewter look, depending on the reflections. Chrome silver just is too popular and common. You see it on audi's, wrx's, porsches, bmw's, all have that bright chrome silver, it's just too common. The Z still looks great in CS though, but the silverstone still has an edge IMHO.

Those pics are cool! The gray im talking about it kind of that ugly gray on the Audi TT's, but even worse. It was a plain gray. It was a kindy of cloudy day around noon, so there was light, but not enough. Silverstone looks awesome at night though, nice, deep blackish/charcoal metallic look.

I prefer CS... SS IMO just looks too dull and uninteresting. Plus, CS looks like SS when it's cloudy, and has more color variation to it. In full sunlight the CS actually looks like it's chrome, it's a unique shade of silver, people keep on making it out to be like "every other silver car on the street" but it really is different, it's a lot shinier and reflects more, plus has different shades of silver within it. And unlike Honda and Toyota silver's it's a "true" silver without a blue tinge to it. Silverstone would've looked nice if it was the diamond graphite on the G35C, for those who haven't seen, it's like a silver with a very high dark almost black speckle to it, so it's like a silverstone but with MUCH more metallic accents to it.. a WONDERFUL color.

Here is a shot of my CS next to my restored '72 240Z. The 240 is painted in Sikken Audi silver, and is actually slightly DARKER than Nissan CS!

Both colors are really nice, but I liked Silverstone from day one (even before I saw it!). I knew the Z would look good in the grayish metallic colors, both classy and sporty. SS is great, not too dark and has more metallic flake then the CS from waht I can tell. It looks great at night, even better on a sunny day. It accents the fender flairs very nicely.

Z461 took the words right out of my mouth. BTW, the pic up there ^^^^^^ looks lovely. Thats the silverstone I love, not like the one i saw today on the freeway. I spotted the Z from a mile away, silverstone, but it was cloudy and rainy day today in Los Angeles and that damn grayish color appeared. Who cares though because it was a HOT blonde female driving the Z.

Well now that I finally got my Silverstone, I can honestly say I couldn't be any happier with any other color. I wish it would stop raining so I'd have an excuse to wash it.
