i heard that all silver cars in general never hold their color... like over time the shiny silver turns dull till its eventually gray... i mean haven't u seen older cars that are gray and your like wtf... why they get that color... we'll when they got it , it was a lot brighter... i remember learning this in high school... something about whoever makes silver on a car last forever will make millions... i dunno.... ARGH
When I first saw these two colors I was sure I wanted silverstone. Then I saw the door handles on the chrome silver.
On the CS the door handles match and give it a cool monochrome look.
On colors like black or blue the handles are an interesting accent mark.
To me the door handles look the worst on the SS because they look like they are supposed to match, but don't. I don't like the look of two different silvers on the same car that don't match.
But it is all opinion. That is just my $.02

Photo taken on an overcast day in the early fall during the Rochester Wine Country Rally. Enjoying the Silverstone, can't wait until the nice, dry, warm weather!

AWESOME pic by the way.....the more I see the SS the more I know I made the right choice.
I like the SS over the CS. Ok, now I bought a CS because that's what I could get at the time.
After owning for 4 months, I know I made the right choice...the color that would get me behind the wheel first! At any rate, I like the SS better, but only marginally better than the CS. I still think that you can't buy an ugly color for this car.
I always said I would NEVER buy a red car. However, while driving my Z on I-30 W, I saw a Redline eastbound on I-30. I was in awe. Looked like it had been stolen from the factory with the paint still wet!
I chose the right color for a long term relationship, no regrets. However, like the married man with a wandering eye...I can't help but turn my head and smile when I see the SS.

i settled for silverstone because it was the quickest way to get the car i wanted with the right options. the more i see it the sweeter it looks to me. originally it was a choice between chrome silver and white, but i didnt like the chrome silver because it was kind of boring imo. still... any color will look good on a z!
I am in the process of buying a Z . Had my heart set on SS but when I looked at a CS last night I was in awe.
The CS has a gleam to it and seems to look cleaner. I am working a deal with 2 dealers and both are trying to locate either a SS or CS. I really want the CS but I will not be dissapointed if I get SS.
Listen to us..... there are a million starving people in this world and we are worried about "what color silver we are getting in a Z......lol" kinda of funny.
Bottem line is I dont thing you can really go wrong with any of the colors. Some just require more maintenance than others. I have a black car now and will never buy one again, but nothing beats black when its in mint condition and clean. Silver is much easier to deal with.
