Chrome Silver or Silverstone?
I agree that chrome silver is brighter and cleaner, but there is something about silverstone...especially in the sun where it looks like liquid metal. What sealed the deal for me was the fact that I could get burnt orange with Silverstone. Spices up what I feel would be a rather bland cockpit.
some side by sides - Nice Z Steve- for those who didn't realize earlier in his thread, that's a Canadian model (hence the automatic w/ the 18's)

I can remember back in college when I first saw a silver 300ZX. Some cute girl on campus had one and I would see it everywhere. Anyway, I told myself that one day I would own a silver colored Z car. When Nissan unveiled the re-release of the new Z it was silver, when I joined this forum, the first production Z pictures I saw was the Chorme Silver and the first 350Z I saw in person was a CS. I ended up ordering the CS the very next day after seeing it in person. Some folks say that it is a boring color but I think it is very classy and classic.
Reason why I think CS is the best:
1. door handles match body color
2. wheels match body color
3. easy to clean (can't see water spots or scratches)
Also, I am planning to kept this car as collectors item (CS is in all of Nissan's advertising: Promos, TV, mags, web site... etc.
So Jan, Chrome Silver is my choice!!

I am in the process of buying a Z . Had my heart set on SS but when I looked at a CS last night I was in awe.
Bottem line is I dont thing you can really go wrong with any of the colors. Some just require more maintenance than others. I have a black car now and will never buy one again, but nothing beats black when its in mint condition and clean. Silver is much easier to deal with.

Use basic algebra.
X (your random two digit number)
a (the 10th place number of your two digit number)
b (the 1st place number of your two digit number)
Y (sum of the formula)
You know two facts:
X-a+b=Y
X=10a+b
Therefore,
(10a+b)-(a+b)=Y,
9a=Y
Therefore, no matter what number you pick, the solution will be a multiple of 9. And if you look at the chart, all the multiples of 9 are the same symbol. The only reason a different symbol comes up every time you click the ball is that the chart symbols change with each click.
Ahh, brings me back to the fifth grade.

Nissan dealer in the UK told me that if they want to demo a new car or show a car off they'd pick the lighter colour for it (Blade UK, Chrome US). Most new cars bought out here, BMW's etc. tend to be in the lighter colour (I also did a basic straw poll today driving home which beared true).
I plumped for the darker colour (Gun Metal UK, Silverstone US).
richZ

richZ
I also went for Gun Metal richz. Aggression is the word. Just a shame that we haven't got to see a Z in the UK yet........
Didn't want a CS one, as Evry Dog and his Man has got a TT in Silver....... Don't want a TT
Also, if the Nissan dealer in the UK wants a demo, they will have to wait an estimated 2 years due to current demand.......
