Lower aftermarket seats or rails???
I've read through a few old threads from other tall guys like me (I'm 6'7" 240lbs) but none of them ever got a definitive answer from anyone as to if any of the aftermarket seats or seat rails/sliders actually lower the seating position significantly. I'd love to have another 2" of headroom so I'd like to hear from those who have replaced their seats and if the stock rails/sliders look like I could just take them to a machine shop and have them make much lower versions where the holes will still line up. Or better yet, if any of the aftermarket rails lower the seat significantly. There's gotta be someone out there who put the stockers and the aftermarket rails next to each other. Help please!!!!!!
I have Sparco Torino's in my Prelude currently and hope to transfer them to the Z when I get one.
There are three different levels you can set the ride height at. I'm currently at the middle setting because of a clearance problem with the rails. If I had to guess I would say at the lowest setting they are probably the same height as stock, maybe a tad lower.

At 6'7" I'd be more worried about legroom. I can barely fit my legs at 6'3", how you're fitting in, I have nooo idea. Headroom is plenty for me, but I can see how, with 4" more, I'd be close to top. BTW, you probably have a problem with seeing that traffic light when you're first at the stop and seats are not all the way reclined, hehe

Dude, don't you know Japanese can't even fathom 6'7", let alone make a car to fit a person over 2 meters in it? Hehe, just kidding
, Z is a very nicely designed car. Everytime I look at Crossfire, I'm reminded of that
