Default Loud noise coming from front tire

I have a loud noise coming from my front right tire. It sounds like I have a flat tire! I took it to the dealership and they said that I bent my rim. I replaced all rims with new chrome wheels but I still have the same noise. They said the tires are fine just a lil' worn. I only have 7k on the tires so I cant imagine I need new tires. I got an alignment hoping that would fix it and it didnt either. Any ideas anyone???? No one seems to know anything anywhere I go!!!! Thx!!!!

Odds are the dealership does not want to the replace the tires so thats why there not telling you about the feathering problem with the 350z's... If you can jack up one side of the car and look at the inside of the tire to see if its more worn down then the outside.. if it is by a lot then you definatly have a feathering issue and Nissan will replace the tires..

Nope, that is NOT feathering. That is inner tire wear caused my negative camber. If however the tread blocks on the inside are not all worn evenly and you can feel a difference rubbing your hand over them, then that is feathering. And yes, you can wear down a set of tires in 7,000 miles, especially if your camber had been more negative than normal on that tire from hitting a curb or pot hole.

It's really hard (if not impossible) to diagnose the problem on a forum. It could be uneven wear due to alignment, feathering, etc. Could be a dead rabbit stuck on the inside of the wheel well. You aren't going to get anything definitive, only guesses, and you'll have to go get it looked at to confirm any of them.

Since i've been lucky so far and had no feathering issues, I just guessed it was inner wear that was the result from feathering. A few members posted pictures of there tires with the feathering issues and the entire inside was worn away... Didn't realize it was uneven inner wear that is caused by feathering.. my bad...
