Why do I keep hearing that the NEON SRT-4 is faster than our cars. I beat one on the highway a few months ago. The kids pulled over and said , "Oh, you have the track model, That's why?". I said "No, they all have the same engine, so the result would have been the same". Then he said, all I have to do is upgrade the turbo, and I said,"all I have to do is add a TT. I'm tired of hearing about how fast this HYundia, I mean NEON is quicker.

this quote is retarded, the guy states that NA cars dont mod well, but he only runs mid 11's with 124 mph trap? FWD is a waste in drag racing. I guess modding na cars doesnt make sense but a fwd neon is a good platform for drag racing

I stopped reading after page six. It just got too stupid.
I also agree about the expensive comment. Maybe its just because they're used to taking a cheap-econobox grocery getter and slapping a turbo on it and calling it fast. For me right now, $30k is a bit pricey, but its not terribly expensive.

Im not going to deny the fact that SRT4s are slow cause theyre not, there actually pretty damn quick. I had a hard time pulling on one in a bone stock M5 but the SRT4 was modded for sure.

This must be the ignorant section of the board. Who gives a crap about which car is faster. The Neon is simply junk and I know first hand because my son's future wife had one. Those things can't make 50,000 miles without massive repairs. Futhermoe, I could strap a rocket to the back of a wagon and it would beat both cars.
The Z has one of the best engines in the world, the Neon one of the worst. Plus the thing develops more leaks then my 1949 Buick.
Give me a break and end this topic.
