Talking Haven't Driven My Z in almost a week!

No, no, everything is fine. It's just that it's been raining and just plain soggy here in DFW lately. BUT, today brought some much needed Sunshine which should continue up until the weekend, again. It'll be a big change after driving the Yukon for the past week. Oh well, Friday is the "Big Day" and I will post up pics of my transformed 350Z! Mods to date: 20% Tint, Invisiguard Bra, and coming Friday.....Wheels & Brakes!

Let's just say, this Friday, my car will have come a long way from this...

a week, try 3 weeks (hell, almost a month).... I am going crazy. I did manage to get a 2k2 maxima SE, but it is NOT the same. Only good thing is I have missed all the bad weather, and it is nice in sunny in NorCal (I have been here for 2 weeks and in Dallas the 2 weeks before that, and I drove my maxima up there).... But come Friday when I get home, rain or shine, I am goin for a cruise....

Your lack of driving is for a good reason, new wheels, and new brakes???

Well I took delivery of my car in the midst of all of the bad weather here in DFW so, I was going to drive it come hell or high water. But, Sunday night I washed it and parked it in the garage until tonight (took it out for a short spin) because of the lousy weather.

As for mods BigZ (Mike) and I are going to hook-up and get our windows tinted Saturday at Sun Masters. Thanks for the recommendation TXSTYLE. I may even spring for the K&N air filter and a cargo net as well. Oh the joy of Z ownership.

Since Zay (Jose) and I (Mike) haven't met the local Z folks.. I vote for a meet either mid afternoon Saturday (forecasted to be 80 degrees) or Sunday.

Any takers?

Just the oppisite here. I haven't driven my trooper for about 2 weeks. I've been driving my my S2000. When I started to drive the trooper I was like WTF??

It felt like I was sitting on top of the seats not in them. When I stopped hard the nose dived and when I took a turn it felt like the truck was going to keel over.

OMG the trooper is twice the size of the S2000 but has LESS hp.

TX -- what are you doing with your old wheels? Are you willing to sell just one of them?

Unfortunately...No. I always keep my factory wheels (still have my Lexus 17' Chrome OEM wheels) in the event that I will sale and or trade the car. As you may know, there is no money in aftermarket when you sell your vehicle (unless it's to an enthusiast who wants & appreciates all that good stuff!) and I am kinda prone to getting cars that retain some compatability. Meaning I am looking to get the 2005 redisigned Lexus GS in 2004 and so I sure want to install my current 19' custom chrome MODA's on the new car and sell my current GS as factory as possible. Know what I mean? Same for the Z.

And yeah! I'm completely down for a Dallas Meet! I'll post up now!
