Angeles Crest is nice also, by the way.

Dry road, green trees .... very very jealous. The curves are not helping either.

He mentioned that he lived very near the gap. ( or dragon )

I live about an hour from the gap in Eastern Tennessee, but I don't have to go far to find the real smoky mt range twisties.

About 1/4 mile away is a road that I dare you to try to run at over 40 MPH. Jealous? No. Wishing you a fast run? YES!

There is a downhill 350 degree offcamber sweeper that never fails to make my heart race. Its like a road race on the way to work in the morning. You can't just hold the wheel with your knee and drink your coffee. The road is called GoldPoint in Chattanooga, TN and runs off the top of the mountain down by the tennessee river and state park.

Guess I'll need to organize a run over the hills in my back yard so we can post some comparison pics.

Upper NY state is great! Used to do that all the time when I lived in NJ. Drove all around the Hudson Valley, Greenwood Lake, West Point areas too. My friend and I would always stop in some little bar for the afternoon for kicks. Lots of interesting things to do and see.
