Default Dyno Tuning: An Alternative?

I plan on installing a Kinetix plenum, kinetix hi-flow cats, TopSpeed headers, and TopSpeed Y-pipe on my car in the next month. I already have TopSpeed Y-pipe back exhaust. I was talking to my buddy about the TechnoSquare ECU Reflash. He told me why. I said well I want to fix the Air-Fuel ratio so that I won't be running lean. He told me why not save myself some cash and get a dyno tune. He said my top speed limiter won't be removed and my rpm limiter won't either, but I will gain hp and torque, and it will fix my air-fuel ratio.

Do you think that Dyno Tuning is a good alternative to an ecu reflash?

Has anyone dyno tuned their car and what were the results?
