1,200 miles, 3,000 miles, 6,000 miles, 9,000 miles, 12,000 miles (now is when you can think about synthetic).

At 1200 first oil change and I started to full throttle it. At 3600 switched to mobil 1. Changing intervals at 4000. Now have 23000 and runs smoother then ever.

If it is at all opportune and convenient for you, DIY. The dealer would be the second best election IMO. Steer clear of the quick lube places at all costs...

I pay $60 for 6 oil changes at a dealer. Too convenient & innexpensive to have the dealer do it. It would cost me the same if not more + the hassle to do it myself.

I use Valvoline Synthetic. What's so great about mobil 1? Is it recommended over Valvoline?
