Default What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

I was test driving the 350z yesturday. In six gear going about 80 it was already at 3000 rpm... Hows the gas mileage? I am selling/trading my 2002 Toyota Tundra Limited 4wd 4.7 V8 for the Z. I recently sold my motorcycle and just want something fun and fast to play in but not spend a crap load of money on gas. My truck is real bad on gas but I am sure that has to do with my style of driving. In the truck i get 17-18 city and maybe 20 on highway if i am lucky... On the window sticker it says the Z gets 20/24 if i remember correctly... is this true under normal driving conditions? How much does it cost to fill up your take on average with high octane fuel?

My gauge reads 21-22 mpg city and 27-28 highway. I am paying about 20-25 bucks per tank. I do not let it hit the last bar.

thats pretty damn good... i guess a z would be awhole lot better than my truck... my parents own a gas station so i fill up on the good stuff normally which is about 1.80-1.90... it normally cost me alittle over 30 bucks to fill up my tank and i have to fill up about once a week.

I get those same numbers but I am paying between $35 - $40 bucks per tank. I always let it hit the last bar.

LOL I sold my Tundra for a Z!!! Huge improvement in gas mileage! 21 city and 27 highway for me. I drive from OK to TX at least 10 times a year and my mileage on the truck for the same trips was only 16

About 80% highway driving. I average 22.5-23.5 MPG per tank. My speed on the highway is about 80-85 MPH.

I let my gas light come on and when the gauge says I have like 20 miles left on the tank. That's when I fill up cost around $30 take or give a little. I always seem to pass the last line on my fuel guage, but that is to me pumping the gas on the lowest setting level on the pump and I round to the next dollar. I never seem to have that filling up problem like others and that is because they pump the gas too fast into the tank. I average 24 mpg.

I drive almost all stop-and-go city driving, and I average about 20 mpg.

I'm getting around 17-18mpg mostly city. Highway gets into the high 20's.

The Z has a 20-gallon tank right? You can figure out how much it'll cost to fill. Around here it's $2/gallon.

The Z will get much better mileage than the V8 truck on the highway but in the city, only by a little.
