need best way to make power
Im not sure if this topic has been brought up before but i am just wondering would be some mods that will get me to run low 13s with out blowing it or turboing it. ITs hard to mod without forced induction because its naturally aspirated, but im trying to get about 340-350 to the crank with out forced induciton. Is it just as expensive?

About $4500. If you get sticky tires, then you can probably get there with just the 3.9 and Tilton. If you want to get up to 340 to the crank you'll have to add cams, headers, plenum and a really good tune. That will set you back another $3000+. I'm at ~310hp to the crank right now.

my setup should be doing what you're looking for as far as power - I recomend getting wider stickier tires (new wheels needed for it) than stock hough - I'm struggling for grip when I floor it

Stock twins start taking a dump around 420-440, and doesn't deliver NEARLY the torque.
If your brother plans on keeping with Vipers he'll have to go single, add fuel, and management... THEN he can play.
As for your car keeping with it... We aren't driving straight line cars.

I believe installing just the 3.9 Evo Final Drive by itself results in a net loss of .2-.3 seconds off your 1/4 mile time.

combined with slicks, an LSD, and a 3.90 rearend, any Z should pull mid to low 13's.
but you'll lose gas mileage on the highway, especially compared to the stock 3.55 rear end.
a friend of mine had a 4.10 in his Mustang... 3500rpm+ at 60mph.
