I pre-orderd the Z today.

Put down $1500 and got the purchase agreement and the order form from the dealer.

Curious how long it takes I am hearing Feb? Is there a possibility of a sooner arrival?

I don't mind cuz snow will be here next couple of weeks but if I lived where you are it would be a LONG wait!!
Hope you're not paying over MSRP.
Have your dealer look around for one like what you ordered that may have fallen through as a pre-sale at another dealer and he can trade with them. That's what I tried but only had one month I wanted to purchase and then too late with winter here and there were plenty out there just not in the sunset color which I won't change. But I still get calls from dealers all over the country that have Z's avail just I can't make the drive now as they're mostly on East Coast and I would have 3 major mountain chains to drive over to get home!!! Good Luck!!

 

It's not really a "pre-order", since that process has ended already. What you have done is make a regular order, just like you would do on any other car.

Feb. probably is a good date right now. But, I don't think NNA takes orders until the first week of the month so, in your case, that would be December. Maybe your dealer is changing one of his allotted cars to match your order to get it to you by Feb. If not, and the order doesn't go to NNA until Dec., it could even be March before delivery.

P.S. - Is your $1.5k refundable (in case you find one sooner) or non-refundable???

Well he is looking for others there is one at the dealership that someone is supposedly comming to pick up. That matches the exact characteristics of mine.

I am paying exactly MSRP. I am looking at my purchase agreement:

I ordered the f. mats + s guards $199

handling charg 399

What I am worried about is some how having my order lost.

I did order with a big Nissan dealer in Flordia but I am still worried.


PS Deposit is non-refundable unforutnately but its ok they offer me MSRP I been to 2 other dealers and they were $600-1000 over so I am saving a ton here to wait 3 months. Which is ok with me.

 

Have the dealer give you the Order Number once the order is officially placed with NNA. This will be a six-digit number preceded by a letter. I think for October numbers they used a "W", so your Order # may be something like "X123456" or "Y123456". Later he will be able to give you a "build date". You won't get a VIN # until your car is near delivery.

I will call in 2-3 weeks to get the order number. Good to know that kind of stuff. He did mention March so that is what you mentioned. I hope I can get it before then.

 

Hopefully it will be sooner. Keep in mind that I'm just going by what I read in other threads. A new thread today says that some people on the east coast are getting their cars a couple of weeks earlier than expected. Maybe things are picking up!

I ordered my Lemans Enthusiast on Oct. 1. The dealer ordered it in his October alottment. I got a "W" order number.

NNA tells me that the car will be built in November, VIN assigned when done and that "normally" the car is delivered to the dealer 4 weeks after the car is completed.

HOWEVER...due to the west coast shipping problems and delays caused by increasing US Customs inspections, you can add 2 to 4 MORE weeks onto delivery time.

THEREFORE, my dealer and NNA tells me to expect delivery sometime in February.
