I called to find out the approximate date my car will arive. (mine being an Auto) We chatted for a while and he was telling me that my car will be in a week ahead of schedule due to a shortage of parts for the six speed trans. Maybe this is due to the fix it needs or maybe it is just a shortage in general

Just thought I would pass the info to you all.

 

OK...What FIX does the MT tranny need?

 

I don't know. Months ago people where complaining that their trans were going out and having problems. Read posts about that in past threads. I am just giving info that the dealer told me. He said that manuals are behind due to parts that are on back order and that the auto cars will most likely be on the lots earlier because of this. Take it for what it is worth.
