LED exhaust tip
before you all jump down my throat- I am not a fan of neon or lighting or any of that ****. However, I came across these LED exhaust tips made by street glow. I thought maybe having two glowing white exhaust pipes might look pretty menacing on my Z, from behind. I know a lot of these things sounds a lot cooler on paper and then look cheezy when actually applied- but does anyone have any feelings on this issue?
You have some big ***** dude! I commend you..... Get your Nomex flame suit on cause youre gonna get rice blasted.
here's my opinion on the exhaust tip....... please in the name of God don't. Those are reserved for Civic's and Accords.
I think there are certain things you can do with lighting and still be "unricy" but the LED's gotta go.

indeed you are. that is just stupid IMO. but your car. do what you like, but I PROMISE if you ever show up at a track or strip with that on your car, they will all laugh in your face.
oh and I saw another version of that, they were red LEDs and it didnt even look good. I like some stuff on showcars I think it looks custom, as long as thats what your going for. but not these.

do i have to remind you that they aren't on my car.... If they look gay than thats enough for me not to pursue it- like i said... some things on paper sound sweeter than they actually are. I agree most lighting sux and I assumed this would too.... wanted to post to see maybe someone saw them and they somehow weren't flaming- but apparently they are - so I'll save my masculinity and cruise in my unlit 350Z- where no one will dare question my sexuality.... In that car- We're all 100% straight men!
I got a question... those are white LEDs you said? unless Im wrong, that would be illegal. I had seen it as red like I said, but I believe law is no white lights on the rear of the car (hence why clear tails are illegal) except the brake light.
imagine driving down the highway and seeing your tip. OH MY GOD A MOTORCYCLE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!! see what I mean?

so aside from looking HOMO, they are illegal... you see... what would I do without you guys?
no but you are right, its gotta be illegal and I honestly didn't even think about that- must be for show cars only

I just saw one of those with red LEDs on the tip of a coffee can muffler of a rusted out late 80's Corolla. No joke. Please don't do this to a Z. If guys are putting them on ghetto junkers, it ain't worth putting on a 30k dollar new car...
heh honostly id ont care what you make your car look like, but your killin the motor man,, what is that 1.5" inner diameter???? yay for performance
but seriously as soon as you got on it, you'd shoot them off like rpg's

Even if you wanted to use them on a Z, the white lights would be against the law in Tennessee. The law here states "nothing but red to the rear" to quote the THP. Depending on which county you're in, they will even pull you over for having the blue-dot type red tail light lenses like they put on classic hot rod restorations.

the car isn't even a year old and people are already considering ruining them, wait a couple years till a few used z's hit the streets and people start putting hangliders on the trunk and calling it a spoiler. who's gonna be the first to drill holes in the aluminum hood to put those stupid windshield washer lights on it?
