Well I want to buy the NISMO carbon fiber shift **** so I can say I have NISMO products (but it wont be the only NISMO mod I will have in my car, hopefully), but as I look at my shifter, I have no idea about how to remove it, anyone who has actually done it themselves, could yall lend me some advice please? I would appreacite it thanks

 

Make a search, there are literally dozens of threads out there covering this. Some with photos also

You'll need to clamp down underneath the shift boot (so as to not cause any internal damage) while twisting the ****. If you have an '04 or later, this should be relatively easy.
