Accident Stuff
I recently got in a little wreck in heavy traffic, left my distance, wasnt speeding, wasnt tailing, i looked down to change the treble and bass settings on the cd really quickly when traffic stopped and looked up in time to slow down to a point where no serious damage or injury was caused.
However, i will need a new bumper and hood ... this is actually my first accident and iwas wondering what the policies were about the broken parts taken off the vehicle during the repair. Can i take the sidemarkers and other stuff off of the bumper? Do they toss the broken stuff? Do they keep it? What's the deal? i was sorta hoping to take the old Sidemarkers and LED them and put them into the new bumper?
...I know its stupid how i got in an accident so no flames please im genuinely asking a question

Yea you can have the old stuff. Most body shops will try to re-use you stuff if it isn't broken. Talk to the shop and tell the guy you want them to bill your insurance for another set. I believe the side markers are NOT that expensive at all.
