Default Car won't start

My car can't start again. Its only driven 14000 KM...

first incidence, car can't start. then when the mechanic arrive, it suddenly could start again.

second incidence this morning..... wonder it would start later tonight or not...

can anyone analyse or guess what is the possible problem?

i could still hear the car starter click, but it just won't start. its not even making any other sound... only a starter click sound

Is it even turning over?

Dead battery? Do you have interior lighting?

Starter click but no go could be a bad battery or a bad solenoid. Does it work if you give it a jump?

Check the caps on the battery and make sure there's full contact.

Check if the key transponder battery isn't dead.

I had a similar thing happen to my old 92 300ZX when it was new, would just stop starting intermittently. The bad thing was it was very intermittent, you could stop 1 mile away, or 200 miles away and you didn't know if you could start it again. It really sucked, I had to tow it home 3 times. After the 3rd trip to the dealer, I was going to call the lemon on the car, but of course they finally traced it back to the starter relay. Not sure if the current Z has this but if it does, have them check that.

A friend has a chrystler sebring, which used to have this problem, the dealer could not find what the problem was, after 5 times and my friend saying he was going to go through lemon law, they found the ECU had to be reprogrammed. They did that and the problem was solved.

Another one I would suggest is reading the section on the manual that talks about interference with the chip on the key that could couse the chip to not be read good.

Well, the CD uses alot less amperage than trying to start the engine.

Have you tightened the battery cables on the battery terminals? Have you checked that the chassis ground cable from the battery is tightened?

Transponder interference can cause this.

There is a TSB on it:

Cheers

If it is the nats system, then the engine will crank, but not start and the light above the dash will remain solid red.
