Another difference in the 35th anniversary models - the inside door handles have a clear, shiny clearcoat instead of the usual, unclearcoated, brushed aluminium finish. Subtle, .... very very subtle.

No - floor mats are the usual suspects.

Here is the special badge...

I got the pinstons in!

Unfortunatly someone took the block that I had with the older pistons in it. But we have another piston from the original 350Z motor at jeff's house he will bring to me on Monday.

If any one has pictures of the factory 350Z Pistons please post in this thread...

here are pictures of the new piston...

I am not going to say my thoughts yet just because I can not compare to the old pistons except by what my memory has saved... and I dont want to trust that...

did you compare the 2 pistons yet? Does the new engine appear to be able to handle boost better?

so far we can't say for sure about boost on the new motor. I really don't think that the new engine would be able to handle boost any differently, i don't think that the changes are enough to make THAT much of a difference, but we don't really know yet

Why would Nissan spend all that money on vari exhaust only to lose torque? Maybe the torque curve dosen't fall off as steep on top...

All I can say about the torque curve of the "new" engine is that it's making 246 pounds of torque at 6400 rpms, where as the "standard" engine is making 243 pounds of torque at 6200 rpms.
