To some of you, maybe these are old but I'd never seen these. They are scanned in nice and big which leads me to believe these might be part of official Nissan brochures at some stage. These are of the right hand drive car mind you... but they're pretty cool. Great desktops.

Ahhh.. now i see what the tiny parking light bulb looks like when lit up at night.
Welps... you know what that means. LEDS!
It sounds like a joke but I'm using Luxeon, and they're not your ordinary LEDs.

WWW.LUXEON.COM is where you can get specific information about the special LEDs I've ordered.
However, the main distributer is Future Electronics at WWW.FUTUREELECTRONICS.COM
I have already ordered a pair of white Luxeon Star/C (LED mounted on 1" square aluminum heat sink with 2 pin connector).
They're still underpowered when applying 9V with 100 ohm resistor. I'm going to set it up with a 30 ohm 1W resistor. These two LEDs will replace the dome lights. The overall light is very clean, and the LED light is blinding if you look directly at it. In picth black room, I can see everything with just one LED... so the light spread is nice.
Get the batwing radiation pattern because you want even light spread in all directions... correct me if I'm wrong. It has a low dome.
If you want regular size LEDs in white, the best bet is Nichia. These things produce perfect white light that is extremely clean. However, these are not the Luxeon type LEDs... so the brightness isn't nearly as good. But the color is the best! I'm using these for A/C ****, reverse signal, and license plate illumination.
There's more to my plan, and the cost of doing everything amounts to about $150-200 if i do EVERYTHING.
BTW... I don't know where to get 1156/1157 bulb base. My only resort is to get some cheapo LED turn signal bulbs and dismantle them.

You can chat on my aim sn, DJtonium. My friends call me the LED guy because LEDs, Z, and music is all i talk about.
I'm the only person in town who talks too much about LEDs.
Hek.. remember my www.picturetail/djtonium link? Maybe I can get better pictures someday.
When I get my friend's camera... I'll get snapshots of the LEDs I have including the "custom made" turn signal lights.
Each has a cluster of about 12 ultra bright Amber LEDs... I've decided to use these on rear turn signals since the textured lens will make it hard for people to see how ulgy the lights are. But it lights up nicely at night!
I don't like the aftermarket LED bulbs because the lighting is horrible.
I know a seller who can sell me bright leds for a good price, and these leds are good for LCD back lighting or similar apps. I used the blue ones for my friend's accord. So i hope to get pictures of those.
