Slip light on gauge cluster

Default Slip light on gauge cluster

I have a 2004 350Z with 19" wheels. While driving the car, the slip light will occassionally come on, enabling the traction-control system. What can I do about this? (Aside from changing the wheels and hitting the traction-control off button :P)

What width and profile tires did you put on? TCS expects to see an OD diameter difference from the front to rear of about 0.5 to 0.75". If your choice of tires falls outside that range it can cause TCS to think one or more of your tires is slipping.

There used to be a thread in the Wheels Forum on how to pick the proper size but it doesn't appear to be a sticky there anymore:
