Default experience with PDR?

OK guys,

the ineveitable happened. No matter how I try to avoid situations like this, you just cant do it all the time.

Some mother****er opened their door into mine. Amazing, even upon really close inspection,, absolutely no damage to the paint was done. However, there is a indentation in the door (small, but perceptible).

So, I was told about PDR (paintless dent repair) for small dents like mine. Does anyone have expereince with this (something like 80 bucks a dent). I'm worried about some hack making it look worse than it was to begin with.. Also, I hear they have to do it from the inside of the metal which would mean taking apart the door. Is this an issue I should be concerned about? Finally, anyone knows of a reputable chicago area business that does a good clean professional job?

Thanks,
RaymanZ

RaymanZ,

I have had good experiences with PDR. Ask around and get recommendations from enthusiasts in your area. Normally they don't take the door apart. I had a small place on my Z driver fender (probably from the factory) that my local guy took care of for $25. Good luck.
