Seems too cheap to be true. Red flag?

Wrecked?

Looking to pick up a nice used one, but this seems too scary.

Well you got the VIN number, pay the money and get a Carfax report on it. Looks like it is a Touring model so that price is way low.

You're right, too cheap.
Should be more like $24K, not $14K.

I'm sure it is a scam. E-mail the seller & they should reply with something like this:

Thank you for your interest, this is a US model car but it is in Europe, Africa, Asia, Bumblefcuk, right now. Pay me $X deposit through Western Union & I'll send it right away. If you dont like the car, you can return it any time at no costs to you...lol......bla bla bla"

Classic screw up. Meant to put $24000 instead of $14000...but it sure got you interested, right?

If it gets people to call, that's a huge bonus.

But there's no way that car is only 14k unless someone

a: died in it
b: hate's their husband and is getting back at them.
c: the other side of it is gone.
d: is in Africa and you need to send money Western union.

I'll pay $14K cash even if there's plenty of blood.

This has to be a scam. Just wanted your inputs to make sure.

Thanks gang. I'm hoping to find a good one for around $20K (my budget alloted by my wife for a 3rd car).

There's no way that's a legit car selling for $14k. I agree that it's probably a mistake and should be $24k.

There was one of those in texas. But it went like this. I emailed the guy. I moved overseas but the car is still in texas, so thats why the car is that low. Just send me/wire the downpayment and I will begin the process.

yadda, yadda...

It amazes me that those actually EVER work.

I'm in Houston myself, (hence my name), and regardless of location, I wouldn't spend a dime on any car until I saw it.

I have a good friend at a Nissan dealer here, but am shopping around for any killer steals I may find.

I really like the Z, and after watching it perform w/ us on some drives in the country as well as some events at TWS, I think it's a hell of a deal.
I also really like the way it looks... and the seats are some of the most comfortable sport seats I've ever sat in.

Sup Scott. That deal seems too good to be true! I know you said that your budget is $20K but if you're interested in a new one for a "little" bit more I can refer you to a guy out at Champion Nissan. I walked out w/ '05 enthusiast w/ 6yr/100K warranty, wheels and tires covered for 5yrs, windshield covered fro 5yrs for $29OTD.

Can you elaborate? $290TD?
Is that your monthly note? Is it a lease? What was the total cost of the car?

Thanks!

That's a good deal for an 05 Enthusiast + exteneded warranty.

Oh, so $29K out the door. That's pretty good. But... you have to understand, if I spend $9k over, that means her next project can go over by $9k and I can't say anything! So it's an $18k swing!!!

This is going to be a daily, so I don't need to go too far w/ it. (A may also track it at times, so I'm thinking the track model is best... )

even if you're going to track it, it might just be better to get an enthusiast or base for cheaper (make the wife happy), and then spend extra money modding it over time with all the parts you want to make it as good or probably even better than a track model (make you happy).
