Default 350Z Interior

What's the standard interior on a Z like? I would like to have leather, but I know it doesn't come on some of the lower models, and if I buy used then I don't really have as much of a choice. Is it that fuzzy cloth? Does it wear easily? Is the leather really worth it?

I can't stand cloth because every time I get out of a cloth car, the static nails me! It drives me nuts on rental cars. hehe

Get the leather. It's much more durable on any car.

What FairladyZ said.

The cloth holds you in like velcro.

with the 03 models they issued a TSB because it was wearing prematurely and the replacement cloth was much better. So, if you look at a used 03 and notice that the cloth is worn, don't worry cause Nissan will replace it with the new stuff under warranty.

Welcome Scott

That pic is from a post from way way back. Someone was all serious saying "check out my new leather seat covers, aren't they cool..." and everyone on the forum got a big laugh out of cause they're so hidous. Every so often someone revives it just for ****s and giggles.

And just to clarify, the most expensive model, the track, doesn't come with leather either. It's not even available as an option. That should tell you something. The cloth seats are a very nice, durable nylon weave which is grippy, but not tacky at all IMHO.

The cloth seats are superb IMO. Best of any cloth seats I've ever had.

You can add after leather seats (which is he only leather on the factory Z) for $700 to a grand.

Don't base your choice around leather, imo.
