VDC - Supposed to Prevent or Correct?
So.. I just picked up my Z last week.. unfortunatly its been wet here and I've been sick as hell. But I got it out to work yesterday to show off the new toy.
Leaving the lot.. taking a turn I managed to get it sideways just by taking the turn under power. Unfortunatly this is my first 'powerful' RWD car.. so I really gotta get used to how to correct the rear end.. using steering and power... but.. I don't recall seeing the SLIP light come on at all. I had it well past 45deg off the line before I stopped it. The pavement was wet, but I would have expected the VDC to kick in.
Does the car not have any lateral sensors? Is it all done by wheel spin? I don't recall the car kicking in at all to correct.. and yes.. VDC was on. Its a touring 6MT.
