Default First obvious specific flaw

I found my first flaw.

What do you notice from this picture...its not that obvious at first site; but very obvious once you know what it is...especially in person.

Normally I would just say it....but given that everyone likes the challenge of at least trying to find out...I'll let it hang here a bit..

Answers so far:

No orange peal, that is the JPG compression (actually get good reflection of standard paint with no zaino yet -- should arrive by next week).

No, right side lower happens to be camera angle..but I agree...that was tricky due to it being a picture...

Plate..yea, it's corny..thats not it but I'll leave it until I get my regular plate

Red face

There's a bigger gap between the hatch and body on the right backside.

Congratulations!!! I never noticed it until my friend point it out..and I've had it for a week now and even washed it...go figure. It's twice as wide on the right than on the left

Yea, your prize is a free ride all over Miami should you decide to visit here before you get your Z. How's that?

Sorry to see that kind of thing - should never get out of the factory that way. I'm sure it's something the dealer can easily fix. Ok, now you've had your one glitch.

Keep on Z'n!

I have the same thing, but it's not as bad. Someone else had it here, and the dealer repaired it. But it's still not perfect. I'd rather figure it out myself because I don't trust dealers to fix anything.

Can't you turn the 2 spring loaded rubber things that it closes on to adjust it. ( Not the technical term) The ones that are about 2.5 inches long. They are above the 2 main lifts.

My $.02

Before you take it in check this page to see if the allowable gaps are within yours, if so they probably wont do anything, or if you can figure it out adjust yourself as described.

Good advice, I had the same problem w/my 240Z, but it was easy to get the proper alignment.

Actually Westpak's prize is that. Look at the very first reply (his), he got it right.

I've noticed the same thing on my car, but it is inconsistent depending upon how I close the hatch. Both hands on either side of center seems to produce a better seal (not sure why since the latch is in the middle???) and minimizes the road noise from the hatch area. Go figure!?!?!
