I've been on these forums for a while now, and it seems there's still a lot of tire-feathering-this or tranny-problem-that. I think a lot of people have forgotten just how damn cool this car is! So what are some of the little things you notice after owning the car for a while that you just love?
I love the exhaust note right after you turn the car on, when the RPM is slightly higher for the warm up period. It sounds so warbly, almost exotic. The fat steering wheel is awesome too, it seems to fit just perfect. I like the digital speedo on the trip computer, sometimes I forget I have a normal one right in front of me . And finally, I love it when I drive by a building and see my car's reflection in the glass. The Z looks awesome!
So, what are some of the little things you love about your Z?

I never actually got to see the Track wheels while moving fast. Today I finally saw them off the reflection of another G on a caravan to a G meet and I love how aggressive the slight lip looks. Now if that isn't something that takes a while to notice.. since I never actually get to see someone else driving my car.

 

I love how nice it shines. just gave her her first wash wax job since I've had her and removed the rear wiper. Damn I am in love with this car.

after 7 months (little over 3000 miles)

I like the digital speedo too - in fact, I don't even look at the regular one. Also, like the display that informs you how many miles you have left before you run out of gas.

I love the DB color and how the color reflects the various tones of light.

I also like the low tone the HKS duals emit at idle, how the popcharger growls at >4000 rpms, my custom mounted tweeters, and the surround system at work.

I haven't found anthing yet that I dont love about my Z. I bought it right before thanksgiving of 04 and now have almost 8000 miles on it. As great as the car is on the twisties it is just as wonderful on the open highway as a long distance cruiser. Mine has been from Nashville to Canton,Ms twice and from Nashville to Dallas for Christmas. Since I added XM Radio to the Z she is even better for trips. I had the XM micro antenna installed under the rear strut bar cover right next to the Z emblem. It picks up great and no one knows its there, The car draws enough attention as it is.

 

Well.. there is no words for the Excitement I feel when I look at my car!!!I love the way she looks like she is smiling all the time!! I love driving and seeing my shadow and reflection!!! I love how people break their necks to look at me!! I like how my car changes my attitude, when I step out the car I feel like one super bad, @$$ kickin, stunt'n, ****!! I love seeing peoples mouth fly open and form the word Damn!! I love the way you can feel the G's when you come off a steep hill!! I love how she pins me to the seat at every curve!! I took her out to the autocross track today and that was the best feeling in the world when I hit the zig-zag and didn't even come near a cone!! I love the way she can make my heart pound with just a glance! I'm not sure I can bring myself to even date a guy that doesn't have a Z, because he would never understand the emotions and love I have for my car!! I love the pedals, the exhaust, the candy paint, there isn't a think I don't like!! You name it I like it even down to the navi cover!! Every single line,I'm in love with my car!! !!

 

Word. I once drove around an office complex twice just to see the reflection. This is one sexy car!

My favorite little thing is the Z logo on the AC vent covers that you see when the doors are open. I'm trying to find some aluminum replacements for these grills so that they are more visible. These were one of the coolest things I first noticed when I was looking to buy a Z.

 

After like 12 months of having this car, i just found out it had a shift light, which freakin made me crap my pants. It was set at like 7800 rpms or somethin so it never came on lol.

Oh man, there are so many to choose from.

- how much of a conversation piece this car is; even with people who are aren’t very interested in cars.
- the unexpectedly spacious interior, and the fact that the trunk can fit a substantial amount of cargo.
- the feeling of the rear sliding out a little bit, just before it catches and takes off.
- the fact that you can pick out Z symbols in almost every area of the car.
- exhaust is just so damn sweet.

Ok, I am officially stopping before this becomes one long list of features.

I like the way my Z reminds me of my first car.... 1971 240Z. It is like I flash back in a way some times. I love Z cars! This is my fourth, hopefully I will be blessed to own many more.

Good stuff everyone. I remembered a few more myself. The seats in this car are awesome, they hold you in place and they look sweet. I really like the shifter, it feels great. This car looks mean as hell at night with the lights on too.

i love how much power this car has! its admazing how big of a difference there is after I drive my bro's Honda Prelude and comparing it to the Z. Reving all the way to 4th gear gets me above 90mph... admazing.

 

I love...

- Having the door open and being able to see the gorgeous interior as well as the gorgeous exterior
- The HID's
- The Z emblem in the vent that you can see with the door open
