Nice Burnouts! Car sounds great! I like the flames too!
What's the Gtec giving you on 0-60 and quarter mile?
And what all mods do you have?
Thanks again for the video. Nothing wrong with ******* out some old tires before getting some new ones, I do it all the time.

flames are usually caused by momentary rich conditions... when i would let off the gas at the race track going into a corner, or when shifting hard, my cars usually blew them..
yea, DR's don't last long as it is, but that is just a great video.....

Ruins it for those who actually do have a problem with tire wear because Nissan thinks we are all doing this to are cars.... Im not saying not to enjoy the car anyway you want, but I think its a bad idea to post pictures and videos on here so people who are associated with Nissan can point to this stuff as reason not to honor the warrenty on our cars... We shouldnt give them ammo to use against us..
Just my opinion and maybe im wrong... but thought i'd say it anyways

I do think Z's are "profiled" somewhat..The police do it and I feel like some of the dealers do as well. Consider this when reading some of the dealership saga's.

And the comment about Peter's sig, I say, that's a good one as well, but I'm more concerned about video evidence of the burnout, not the marks on the pavement.
So, you've all had a week now, let's see some competition.

he's doing what you HAVE to do in order to get good traction at a track...Burnouts are essential for decent 60 foot times.
I agree that you should not go to your nissan dealer complaining about your treads being down I also would NEVER do this type of burnout on street tires since it's somewhat useless...you get dr's put them on before you go to the track and do the burn out.

Now as I stated before I believe they changed that on the 04's because when I took out the fuse I immediately got a cel when I hit the brake and throttle and the car actually shut off leaving me very embarrassed at the track....so I just had to learn to pump the break and revving up a bit higher and burnout with the fuse in place.
Now the real way to do this is by using a linelock which is a solenoid that keeps the front break on once you hit a button while on the break and then you can revv without wear and tear on the rear brakes and you can burnout really well...now unfortunately due to ABS in our cars installing this is a nightmare and might not even work because of the stupid, horrible, retarted drive by wire which I will never understand why this was done to us in the first place...
Hope this helps
