What was it ? did it make 300zxTT have 4 wheel steering meaning that all 4 wheels turned ?
Did NA 300zx have it ?

All the 300ZX Twin Turbos had it. In early years it was hydrolic, in later years it was electric.
The 300ZX NA did not have it.
A few "limited edition" (?) 240sx's also had HICAS. Don't ask me, I saw one on the road and looked it up online and appeared to be true.
Yes all 4 wheels steer, but the rear wheels only move a few degrees back and forth - nothing you'd notice by looking at it, and I don't think it kicks in at all at speeds under 15 mph.

The competition was putting together cars that handled as well, and put down the same numbers... Nissan was smart... scraped it. Waste of money.
Ironically thou... look at the new Chevy trucks... AWS... Haha... Who would've thought.
I had both a 91 240sx and a 91 300ZX TT with Super Hicas. When I test drove the 240 with and without, there was a definite difference in handling. It was expensive and drove the price up though. High speed lane changes took a little getting used to, the front went then the back.
As for the GM trucks, this is a much more practical application, I think they have the same turning radius as an accord!
