I just got a quote from the Dealership.

 

Make sure they aren't replacing your in-cabin air filter. Since you don't have one =P

 

What do they do for 230 bucks?

 

The 15k maintenance for the 350Z is JUST an oil change. I've had that confirmed from 2 different Nissan dealerships.

 

Look in the owners manual, it says exactly should happen at 15k

 

for the Z, the 15K service turns out to be an oil change and a walk around inspection. my dealership charged me $25.95, the oil change price. DO NOT pay any more.

My Nissan dealer gives you a free car wash with every service.

 

oil change and inspect fluid level. some dealerships also includes an computerized alignment check. If you are being charged $230, they should at least change the tranny fluid and rear diff fluid (these fluids will cost about $50)

 

I was wondering the same thing. I always change my oil so I duno what else they could do that'll be worth ~$200

 

They had better be givin me some suction for that amount. Or a high-school cheerleader strip show.

 

Ask the dealership you got the quote from what they would be doing. I can't imagine what they would have to do after only 15k miles that would cost that much money.
