Default Key Fob

Does anyone know how to arm the car using the remote without the car making the honk sound?

Hold the unlock and lock button on the key chain for 5 seconds.... you will then see the lights flash 3 times and it wont't honk anymore....

hahaha.

I know that those dangly things for your laptops for ethernet cables are called dongles. Maybe it's the same person who named the "dongle" named the "fob". Ha.

Time to go polish/wax the Z. Ahh..

Although I don't know definitively, "fob" is defined by webster.com as:

Main Entry: fob
Function: noun
Etymology: perhaps akin to German dialect Fuppe pocket
Date: 1653
1 : WATCH POCKET
2 : a short strap, ribbon, or chain attached especially to a pocket watch
3 : an ornament attached to a fob chain

This does sound like the keychain item we are talking about.
