couple of questions on the seat heaters.
1) mine seems to work inconsistently. sometimes its not that warm..then i feel it warming up...goes cold...etc. (i know it's auto on/off to maintain a consistent temp..i thought)
2) the manual says dont leave it on when you turn the engine off...that it might run the battery down. what do you think about this? is it like leaving the headlights on??

ya know, I was told that as well. but when I turn off the car, the light goes off, and the seat goes cold. Im not sure whats going on, but as far as I can tell, it cant kill your battery. but I dont want to test it.
I've accidentaly left mine on overnight and no problems. It appears to be switched to the ignition. It turns off when you pull the key.
As for the way it works.... mine also seems to go in waves. I'm guessing it cycles... warm for a while then a bit less warm, then back to warm... thats my best guess.... why it would be that way I am clueless

I've left my switch on for days, nothing bad has happened. It sometimes feels like the low setting is warmer than the high setting, but overall I guess some heat is better than no heat. I guess I'm just a spoiled SOB that wants it all!
