Just got back from the dealership and looked at the PPW...I agree it's a nice car, but I just had my heart set on SB. I went with a Performance with everything: side air bags, all mats, cargo, aero, and chrome rims. I talked to my dealer about the swirls and he guaranteed they'd all be removed by his detailer and he recommended I think about getting Ziebart's Diamond Glass for the car. Does anyone have experience with this stuff? Will a coat of Meguiars or Gold Class do the same thing? The Ziebart guy quoted me at $300 for the Diamond Glass.
Also, I'm not too crazy about the Nissan chrome rims. Does anyone know how much I could sell these for?

Do NOT buy the diamond glass, it's a total rip off. It's just a fancy wax job, I'm pretty sure they just use a teflon based wax. You can get it waaaay cheaper yourself.
Anyway, congrats on the new Z man!

+3 on glass. I think you also have to pay them to "maintain" the finish once a year or something to keep the shine. You can pay someone to wax your car once a year for cheaper, with better result.
Congrats on the new Z.
