its only been 3 weeks!(for me anyway)
0 for nothing.
I watched this happen with the RSX, people would mod with the first intake, first exhaust. then 6months later when all the others came out it was obvious that the first was never the best.
Ill probably wait atleast 6 months to make sure I get the best there is.

2500 - stereo
500 - clearbra
1200 - lojack
3500 - 19" TE-37's on order
I'm getting the intake from Injen next, and waiting on the borla exhaust so there's another 300 + probably 6 or 7 hundred for the exhaust.
Total by next month?
Around 8700 dollars... I'm sure many other people here have spent around 5-6 thousand already.

a little over $10K... look below for mods...
this is just the beginning... there are good points of what is proven or not.. this is why i went with teins and rays as big ticket items now... no argument can be made about them..
as for engine mods... i am holding out for greddy kit...

$3000 for chroming the nissan rims
$ 700 for additional security system
$ 400 for Valentine 1

planning on....
This is what is nice about this website, I can learn from you guys...this is what I might do:
1. 3-4.5 wheels and tires
2. 1K approx for upgrading stereo
3. TT or SC if Nismo offers something that is smog/strret legal, performs well, and is still under warranty. Otherwise upgrade hp as cost efficiently as possible.
It looks like about 10k or more if i do all that. time and money will tell. I agree with others in waiting to see what products come out first. Besides, as a fellow Z owner suggested to me, "you might be satisfied with the performance of the Z stock" and that I should drive it for a while to see what I want to improve.

either your exagerating by like 2.2 thousand $$$$$. or your not real smart. you could buy a pair of the best rims on the market, and get them chromed for 3grand. I mean the idea of 7-800$ for chroming is insane, but thats my opinion, and thats how much they go for. but 3grand!!!!!!!!!!

About $4250 so far.
$3500.00 for 20"rims & tires (chromed)
$550.00 for 10" amplified Bazooka bass tube
$150.00 for the car cover
$100.00 for the Bra (that hasn't made it out of the box)
$10.00 for a few bottles of windex (to remove people's oily finger prints & nose hairs off my windows)
$8.00 for some construction paper & a Magic Marker (to make a sign to say #1, "ITS A NISSAN 350Z, NOT A PORSCHE, NOT THE NEW LEXUS, & YES IT DOES RESEMBLE AN AUDI TT". #2, "THE PRICE RANGE IS FROM $26,000 TO $36,000". #3 "YES ITS FAST". #4 a drawn picture of a thumbs up.

man cazz i'm glad your into looks and not perofrmance
you'd be kickin your own *** as soon as you tried to track that against a stock enthusiast
looks sweet as hell though,, i like the look of chrome on brickyard, i'm still trying to figure out what lightweight wheel finish would look good w/ the brickyard bronze seems to look goofy and make the car seem pinkish
