Default Employee discount?

I've read that Nissan employees get a discount of 3% under invoice. So what are the invoice prices? Actually, what I really want to know is the invoice of a manual enthusiast model. Thanks.

The 3 percent is probably the dealer holdback that is returned to the dealer after selling a car?

not all models have dealer holdback , I thought? Only cars that corp. was trying to push or cars that are not selling? It wouldn't make sense on the Z because it sold it self, no reason to give dealers more incentive.

Here's the skinny. Employees of nissan have the opportunity to purchase vehicles under factory invoice and including all incentives. Basically there is no better deal that you can get. The catch is the dealership you are purchasing the car from must agree to the terms. And it is only for select models. I can guarantee you that no one will be getting the 350Z for anywhere near invoice for a long time.

There's also a Nissan employee program for leasing vehicles in which the corporation picks up the auto insurance and pays for scheduled maintenance for an employee who leases. Basically it's like having a company car that you pay to lease.

That is how I plan to get my Z in a year or so. Hopefully it'll work out <fingers crossed>

Default Perks abound

for the BMW workers in this area. I understand they get some deal like mentioned above. Seems like every 4th or 5th car you see here is a 3 series Bimmer. Hell, I might live in the Bimmer Belt.

Maybe if you ordered in a year or so. I'd guess the demand is just way too high right now. Let's see... 6000 orders, 0 cars available. That's allot of demand!

It's been my experience that doing anything other than ordering a new car especially as an employee of the company is a bad idea if you want to make a good deal.
