So my dealer charged me $209 for this, what is it? Vin Etching maybe? What were they suppose to do that they didn't do? I have an 05 ZR.

I read the Trac Guard agreement and it basically is extra insurance if my car is stolen.

$2500 if it is not recovered in 30 days. $1000 if less than than 30 days. Good for 5 years!

Oh well, live and learn. One good thing about it is, it saved my 5% on my car insurance, and no I don't have Geico, so in the end its worth it. LOL!

 

Never heard of it. Sounds like some sort of monetary guarantee your car will be recovered after it is stolen within a specified amount of time.
