I thought about this too, but too much potential for accidentally shooting his car. Plus it's no fun to shoot cats with paintball guns, they just take off like a bat out of hell (no screeching, meowing......nothing........very unsatisfying).

I prefer the idea that the cat is going to have his nuts cracked at the animal shelter.

Default damn cat...

speaking of puzzie....my Z doesn't even have a paint chip after about 4K miles, and the other day I just saw this one car trying to climb my hood just like Armstrong conquering the Alps;except the cat kept slipping down, and by closed inspection of my car, there are quite a few marks left on my hood. Pissed me off. I'm gonna BBQ that cat just for fun one of these days lol

Just put a can of tuna on another car. That'll attract the cat away from your car! LOL

NO need to blow the cat away. Get a VERY VERY high powered air rifle (1,000PFS+), get some pointed pellets and guaranteed you'll make that cat dissapar easier than you think. Problem solved...( JUST MAKE SURE THE CAT DOESN'T HAVE A OWNER)

You have a pic of a scraggly dog on your car and you wonder why a cat jumped on it and did what he did... cats are smart

Good thread!! Theres a cat in my complex who gets muddy paw prints and dirt (I think he rolls in it first just to **** me off) on my hood I would say, once per week. Last time, while I was walking out to my garage I saw this cat approaching my Z. So, what did I do?? I chased the son of a bitc# of coarse....right past a SUPER hot chick coming around the corner who now thinks Im a tool that has nothing better to do than chase cats Oh, well, she wouldnt understand anyway.

When I lived at an apartment, I used to have the same problems with cats. You have to be carefull though when using the 'scare' method or shooting the cat off the car with a bb gun or similar method. A scared cat will likely expose his claws and try to get tracction in the paint of the car to get away quicky causing unfixable deep scrathces in the paint/clearcoat. Also, I have noticed that even repeatedly chasing the cats away ... they would never get that reinforced learning stuff and would always be right back on the car in a few hours or so! Best thing is a good car cover and a six pack of beer (to keep you relaxed).
