Default Dealer Oil Change: 10W30 oil????

I took my Z in for its first oil change. The receipt indicates that they installed 10W30 oil. Should I take it back? I thought 5W30 was recommended for general use. Is there some reason for using 10W30?
Thanks,
Mika

Depends on where you live. I see you're in CA. 10W-30 is fine (and preferrable) if you live where temps never drop below freezing for extended periods. Thats what I plan on using in my car here in TX.

I, personally, would take it back.

Nissan recommends 5W30, period.

My Nissan dealer also used 10W-30 motor oil in my car. This is fine in Louisiana where the weather is moderate during the winter. In the winter climes you would probably want a thinner oil, although I was raised in Central N.Y. and we used 10W-30 in all our cars. The temperature could get down to -20 or -30 during the winter.
