I will agree about the sub, I am not to happy with the job they did. I am going to redo it in the near future. The hood is Carbon Fiber from Erebuni. I bought it at www.nopi.com they are still have a HUGE clearance on the C/F hoods for the 350z.
For the paint its pretty easy. Heres the steps:
1. Get your engine primer that is heat resistant(local pep boys)
2. put three light coats primer
3. Let each coat of primer dry completely then wet sand with fine sand paper
(I used the model sand paper from testors, it works great especially in the little crevices)
4. I used 4 light coats of Chevy blue I think
5. in between each coat I wet sand with ultra fine sand paper(once again the testors sand paper works great, bought at micheals for like 3 bux)
The purple color is a lot harder to get as it is a three part paint unlike the plenum
For that I did basically the same as above(USING ENGINE PRIMER this is important, if you use regular primer on the plastic it will bubble from the heat and your car will smell like burnt paint) but the first color is a dark blue, then the top coat is a candy apple blue.
Then after your done painting I put a few coats of engine clear coat on it to keep it shiny. Then I waxed it!
I would be willing to paint some peoples plastic if they want(pay for the paint/shipping and tip me we can work something out). I want to take out the power steerig, coolant and whatever ugly plastics are under teh hood and do the same process, jsut so it "cleans" up the engine bay good!

From what I can see, that is a sick looking house in the back round. Is that yours or your parents?
