I will take a stab at it.
JDM= Any vehicle sold from the Japanese car market
Us Spec= A JDM vehicle but tweeked or geared for the United States market.
Jspec= A JDM vehicle but tweeked or geared to the Japanese market.
Euro Spec= A JDM vehicle but tweeked or geared to European market.
Classic case of the above is the Nissan 240sx.
Us Spec= truck engine. Called a 240sx
Jspec= SR20DET or CA18. Called a Silvia.

Our cars are more similar to the Euro spec with extra support to past the NHTSA test.
All 6th generation honda accords are made and produced here in the states.
Honda US produced car is USDM.
Honda Accord Type-R is our Acura TSX which is made in Japan.
Honda Japan produced car is JDM.
350Z = JDM 100% build 100% parts
you can see that on your window sticker as well.

That's camel power.... to be exact one camel power = .9761 horse power. Horses do have longer legs you know.
Now 294 camel power times the conversion factor of .0761=287 horse power
Either that or they are hiding some super gas and engine oil from us.....
Just Kidding!!!!!!

There are 2 ways to measure horsepower, SAE horsepower and simply horsepower. They are very similar but SAE numbers are always slightly smaller due to the way the conversion works.
