Anyone have acces to find out the paint codes of the QX4? My Dad has a 2001 and my Aunt has a 2002. Both are silver, but my Dads seems a bit darker and does not have as reflection to it. Just wondering if any of them match the silver paint codes to the Z. Looks like they are both too light to be silverstone and too dark to be chrome silver.

 

Check the VIN plate stamped in the engine bay, or in the driver's side door jamb. The paint code is listed somewhere on that plate.

 

My Aunt lives far away, but I've been looking around on the net and one site stated that the silver on the 2002 QX4 is brilliant Silver (KYOJ) and another site stated (KYOG). Anyone know if any of these are right and if so, any connection to KYO (chrome silver). The silver on my Aunts 2002 is really nice...the difference is so subtle, but it is nicer then my Dads 2001, but I won't tell him .
