oh and dont bag on mitsu's service, its not as bad as you think. the clutch issues can be attributed as much to the driver and high hp applications as it can to being weak.

i was actually in the middle of a lemon law action against nissan, but was able to snag a great deal on an evo. to all the haters out there who think its not cool, wanna race?

+1 about the Z , but the EVO has been around forever, not sure how many generations its gone thru, but hence the name EVO VIII

You got to it before I did, the Evo has quite a history overseas as does the STi, those cars are well respected in other countries. I feel your pain PoWeR, if I didn't have a shop near me that specializes in Nissans I would sell my G in a heart beat and get something else, sorry to hear about your troubles but you'll be happy with your new ride.

I love EVO's too (been on their forum over 2 years) but if you're wanting a resolution of warranty issues with dealers, you just jumped into the fire my friend. Mitsu is infamous throughout the industry for rejecting warranty claims on EVO's.

Her name is at the bottom of the pic, but I know nothing about her. I just thought she was hot so I put her on my sig.

Because most young stupid people that buy them think they can do 6000 RPM clutch dumps to get a nice launch w/o damaging any parts of the engine.
