finally sold my z
well after countless hassles with warranty issues i was fnally able to trade my z in on a new evo. to anyone out there looking for an 03-04 350z i would strongly advise against buying a z as nissan is fully incapable of fixing this issue. i will miss everyone who was so helpful on these forums.

Well, not to bag on Mistsubishi, but I don't think their warranty service is any better than Nissans. I asked a Mitsubishi tech, "If I buy an Evo RS how good is the warranty?" He just shoke his head at me.
In any event, have fun with the EVO. Sorry to hear the Z was a hassle.

I am 110% happy with my 2004 Z (car purchase 101: do not buy the first production cars in a new generation) and the EVO cannot achieve the beauty and history of the Z car.

was hanging out with a couple evo drivers today at the track who'd trade off driving.
Damn that's one fast car on the track. They've done several track days with no real problems they said.
Of course they had a JDM right hand drive one, but still it's impressive on the track - enough to make you think the Z is slow...
the evo with minimal mods - like $3000 worth of mods, was keeping up and overtaking a porsche GT3 and a couple corvette C6 drivers
